Aurora Solar Technologies

Aurora Solar Technologies, together with our subsidiary BT Imaging, develops, manufactures and markets material inspection and inline quality control systems for the solar polysilicon, wafer, cell and module manufacturing industries. BT Imaging is the leading supplier of Photoluminescence (PL) Imaging in the world, and inline quality control products from both Aurora and BT Imaging are installed at major manufacturers throughout East Asia and other global locations.

Our products measure and display the results of critical cell fabrication processes, revealing material properties and the performance of manufacturing tools and processes. They allow process engineers and production-line operators to rapidly detect and correct process excursions and material faults, and to optimize their manufacturing processes, thereby increasing production throughput, yield and profit. Researchers at virtually all major institutes and manufacturing companies use our products to develop and qualify leading-edge solar cell designs for mass production.

Aurora is a public company, headquartered in Vancouver, Canada with locations in Sydney, Australia and near Shanghai, China. We are listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol ACU.
